Research Training Group Postdoctoral Openings

The Department of Engineering Sciences and Applied Mathematics at Northwestern University expects to recruit two Postdoctoral Fellows for appointments beginning in Fall, 2008 as part of an NSF-sponsored Research Training Grant project. This project will provide support for the Postdoctoral Fellows for a period of up to three years. The successful candidates will teach an average of one course per quarter and will have the opportunity to work in interdisciplinary research teams on cutting edge applied mathematics research in the life sciences and mechanics.

Applicants will be considered until the position is filled. This position is restricted to U.S. citizens and permanent residents.
